Video: I Have Never Loved Someone

The song is I Have Never Loved Someone, by My Brightest Diamond, from the album All Things Will Unwind, available from Asthmatic Kitty.

The paper is (mostly) Daler-Rowney’s Cartridge Pad (120 gsm).

Shara Worden wrote this for her baby, and cried a little after singing it for a Takeaway Show.

I love this video. I’d wondered how you created those lovely artworks, and now I know. Simply fabulous.

    🙂 Awed.

Love the video and your handwriting! Please make more! A question though. I’m a complete art noob, but I wonder: what is that liquid that you used so that the ink flows across the paper? Is it water? 🙂

  • Leigh Reyes

    Yes, it’s water. 🙂

Very inspiring. I’ll be watching out for more. I’m addicted to papers and inks too. 😀

Leaving aside the beauty of this, damn, that’s a good paper. As it happens, yesterday I went through an art store, and they had a lot of Daler Rowney stuff, including paper, but I was afraid to buy, since I’ve never tested it. I’ll just stick with Canson for now, I thought. I should reconsider.
