One side burning, the other side chrome. The design makes me think of high-tech coffeemakers and Betabrand’s disco skirt.

This is not my usual pen. It’s not vintage. It’s not Japanese. The nib isn’t flexible.

A summer pen, then. For taking to the beach and stirring banana shakes with. And for posting. This is one pen I enjoy using posted – the cap gives the plastic body a fair amount of heft. Besides, aligning hexagonal pieces is fun.

It writes with the straightforwardness you expect from a nail.

    I’ll have to admit, I’ve never heard of this pen. It looks good. How much was it? +1 for Asterix :)

    I made sure the word “barrel” was near the pen barrel. I feel the need to point this out. ;D I got the pen in Fook Hing in Singapore and they gave me a small discount. Prices online are around USD115. I’m sure it can be found for less, with more searching. :D

    I was able to try Penmanila’s copy which was black and broad. The steel nib was smooth even on cheap paper. 

    The cap really looks like one of those Bialetti coffee makers and according to one of my sisters, orange seems to be this season’s color. Perhaps an orange Delta pen case to complete the ensemble?

    Yay Asterix!   That orange looks almost like Parker’s red hard rubber orange.

    This is a brash orange. I think Parker’s is more mellow, a Saturday compared to Monday. :D
